When the property address is entered correctly, this information is autopopulated when you select Public Record Lookup on the short form in the MLS. Verify this information through public records.
If the legal description is too lengthy and is truncated by the system, you can override the autopopulated description by typing over the description in the field. If the description will not fit in the space provided, including the additional space provided in the Legal Description continued field, enter "See Public Records."
