Limited Service Listing

Contractual agreements in which the listing broker will not provide one or more of the following services:

Arrangement appointments for cooperating broker to show listed property to potential purchasers. Gives cooperating brokers authority to make appointments directly with sellers.

Accept and present offers to purchase to sellers. Gives cooperating brokers authority to present purchase offers directly to sellers.

Advise seller of the merits of offers to purchase.

Assist sellers in developing, communicating, or presenting counter-offers.

Participate in negotiations on the seller’s behalf.
Generally, the FAR Limited Service Listing Agreement or a like agreement is used with this type listing.
